my name is Laura. I did business with these people never received any magazines that all be kept charging my credit card continuously I got no magazines. however I am being harassed by a woman named Pat Reed. Pat Reed ME I OWE THEM MONEY telling her that I had plain bankruptcy. and then she needed to stop harassing me is it continuous ongoing thing that she keeps harassing me I'm contacting my lawyers I'm contacting the Better Business Bureau once again her name is Pat Reed she says that she's from Easy readers. so not only do they lie but they harass you as I have a medical condition and refuse to be harassed I will be posting this on social media to let everyone aware of what they're doing thank you.

There is no cancellation policy!!!! You are stuck with 24 months of payments and they will not cancel. They will send your name to the credit bureaus if you do not pay and try to cancel. Customer service reps are nasty and completely unwilling to help in any way. I was called by them on the phone. They made it sound like you were getting the world of magazines for next to nothing. I've never heard of not being able to cancel a subscription. Its ludicrous!! I still have 14 payments of $39.90 left. I will take to social media to try and stop these thieves. Its amazing the lengths people will go to to steel your money! Be aware, be very aware of this scam!

This company should be reported immediately, I can not believe that a service can not be canceled, first of all they take your number without authorization online them they offer you free magazines, they entangle you telling you a million lies and without even realizing you are verbally making a contract for who knows how many years with them, when you try to contact them to cancel because simply your situation changed, you were out of work or you are admitted to a hospital or you do not have the money to continue paying them no matter what you explain, they threaten you, they mistreat you and abuse the power they think they have by destroying your credibility and credit history. We should call the credit bureau and let them know the misuse that gives this company to the consumer. An agent from this service represented that I was to win money. I thought she was legit and was with PCLotto. She sweet talked me into purchasing magazines before I realized I was talking to a miner sales person selling magazines. My bill ended up totaling $39 a month for two years. I am having a time paying for magazines that I don't want and that I toss into a waste basket as trash. When I called the service and tried to get them to discontinue sending their magazines the woman I spoke with was quite rude. I suggested that I would stop paying and she threatened to report me to the credit bureaus. They have my credit card number so I am stuck.

Easy reader is a scam, while honest companies do all they can to rectify a situation,Easy Reader does the opposite. It's a hold up with out a gun.

Blindsided by Verifying Person

I told the first person who called that I did not want anymore magazines. I made it very clear that I did not want to continue with EasyReader Services. She let me know that I would need to verify with someone else. I was on hold for a few minutes during which time my son and grandson came into our room so when the verifying person came on the line I was distracted. Believing that she would simply restate my previous wishes I agreed to her statements. I was shocked to receive a bills for $800 plus. When I called they played a recording of me agreeing to the subscriptions. The first caller offered me several magazines for free. That is what I agreed to and that is all I agreed to. I was very naive. And the first caller was so sweet about it. Now the customer service reps don't want to hear anything I have to say and they refuse to cancel this agreement. They did agree not to call me again.

I have been with th service since 2015 and pay the amount of 39.90 each month , but do not receive the amount of magazines selected. I have written, called and complained about the situation frequently by phone, but it is always the same answer," We have problema with the shipping address", but your bills come to the same address and never have problems. Recently I have been paying 39.90 a month to only receive the US issues which I have no interest at all and have said it over the phone each time the company calls, but nothing is done. I want to cancel my subscription immediately and will appreciate you will accept my reasons. I am not satisfied with your ervice. Thank You.

I am an 82 yr old woman with limited income and an invalid son to support. I was tricked into buying all of these magazines through a telephone cold call to my home. I no longer want these magazines and the duty to pay since U signed no contract. After calling them, they insist that I am under contract and must pay $39.00 each month for same. Their rep told me I would be reported to a collection agency. I have A/1 credit and this is upsetting. I can close out the credit card but what else can I do?

Being charged $39.90 a month to my American Express card. Tried to call today to cancel account and they only provide number for payment. You can't reach a person. I've paid on this over a year and would like to cancel this account. After some research today it seems I've been scammed. I didn't realize it was a scam when I initially signed up. I get a bill in the mail, but I had the account linked to my American Express card for automatic payment. Can't locate my contract at the moment. The account number on my invoice is UT595 0**** *. Due to having being diagnosed with cancer I need to find assistance in closing this account to be able to utilize these funds towards my health care.

Magazine scam with heavy duty harrassment

This company offered a magazine deal with time payments and satisfaction guaranteed. We cancelled within a couple weeks and were told no cancellations so we stopped payments on our card. They call with a harassing phone call several times a week for months and keep sending bigger w"bills" . They are an evil company. Normal business practice always allow cancellations. The only thing to do with this company is be very carful NOT to ever ever do Business or even inquire. Get your own magazines directly or read them online. I am sure they will send our cancelled account to some sort of phony collection agency they probably also operate.

There is no way to contact them accept to write a letter. They only have one number that takes you to a pay over the phone system.

There is absolutley no customer sservice reps for you to talk to. This is insane.
